If the many other narrators are as horrible as Mr. Jim Bond should keep to narrating westerns and mystery novels, keeping 'The Duke' out of the middle ages. His lack of emotion and pathetic attempt of the characters makes it a very hard story to follow.

I am disappointed to learn this narrator is used again in this series. Richard's voice makes me think of John Wayne and the Mudpeople are depicted as native sometimes robotic, like they are speaking broken english, though they are in fact speaking in there own language and then being translated by Kahlan.

I have difficulty telling male voices from female voices. I am unable to listen more than 20 minutes before I MUST go to the hard copy. When I first started listening I thought something was wrong with my speakers. The story is very well written but horribly read.
